12U Co-Head Coach
Mike Iaquinto
Coach Iaquinto returns to the 12U CT Rockets in 2016 after serving as an assistant coach last season, during which our 12’s advanced to seven title games, won three championships
and earned a Top 5 finish at PONY East Nationals. He has coached youth sports for nearly 20 years, including more than five years in travel softball. A determined, can-do attitude is Coach Iaquinto’s trademark, which he instills with a positive and fun approach that always has his players smiling.

Sean Lyon
After serving as an assistant coach for the 10U CT Rockets last season, Coach Lyon joins our 12’s in 2016, adding to his more than 10 years of experience coaching successful youth all-star and travel baseball and softball teams. A stickler for proper fundamentals and mechanics, Coach Lyon’s approach to teaching the game demands a focus on doing the little things correctly, while making sure that each of his players has fun learning how to get to the next level.

Sara Michalowski
A two-time regional All-American and Colonial Athetic Association Player of the Year at Hofstra University, Coach Michalowski is Head Coach of the Barlow High School Softball Program and The Wicked Fastpitch 18U Gold travel team. As one of the top private pitching and hitting instructors in the northeast, her experience and expertise as an elite softball player and professional coach provide a level of insight and instruction for our 12U CT Rockets that is second to none.
