2018 Season Tryouts
The Connecticut Rockets are planning to field Teams in multiple age divisions in 2018.
We have scheduled 3 tryout sessions.

Saturday, August 12
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM – 12U
11:00 AM to 1:00 PM – 14U + 16U
Sunday, August 13
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM – 14U + 16U
11:00 AM to 1:00 PM – 12U
Private Tryout
If you were not able to attend our scheduled sessions, you can request a private tryout by sending email to FastpitchRockets@gmail.com.
2018 Age Divisions
Age divisions are determined by birth year.
16U (2001-2002) 14U (2003-2004)
12U (2005-2006) 10U (2007-2008)
Players are welcome to participate in one
or more sessions per age group.

How
We Tryout Like We Practice
Each tryout session will provide an opportunity to showcase hitting, fielding and throwing skills, as well as pitching and catching. We will run drills to evaluate speed, quickness, base running, and overall athleticism. Most sessions will incorporate simulated at-bats with live pitching.
We’re Looking for Ballplayers
Rockets Coaches will be looking for outstanding effort, positive attitude and the ability to translate instruction into action. We are seeking coachable athletes who love fastpitch softball and who work hard to compete at a higher level.
