16U Connecticut Rockets
No team works harder than our 16U Rockets, aka "The Bomb Squad". This Team makes the most of college-level training and instruction, producing one of the most prolific fastpitch offenses in the northeast. 16U Head Coach
Nicole Sidor
Coach Sidor is a highly accomplished fastpitch softball player and instructor who is returning for her second season with the CT Rockets, after leading our 14U Rockets to a Top 20 finish at PONY Nationals in 2015. A four-year starter at D1 Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, she was a First-Team All-Northeast Conference selection as a utility player, while setting the school record for home runs in a single season. Prior to attending Sacred Heart, Coach Sidor won three Canadian National Championships as a pitcher for the White Rock Renegades, the top travel program in Canada. She also earned the Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher awards at the Canadian National Tournament.
16U Assistant Coach
Jim Adinolfi
After coaching youth fastpitch softball for close to a decade, Coach Adinolfi brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Connecticut Rockets as an assistant and first base coach for our 16U Team. He has a laser focus on the fundamentals of the game and supports the 16U Rockets with a positive enthusiasm that motivates and inspires his players to reach their potential. Throughout his years coaching softball Coach Adinolfi has helped to lead his Teams to multiple championships and tournament title games. Nicknamed “The Machine” by a fellow Rockets coach, Coach Adinolfi is capable of hitting perfect ground balls and fly balls for hours, and he loves it.

Andrea Sidor
After joining the Connecticut Rockets coaching staff last summer, Coach Andrea Sidor has proven herself to be a perfect compliment to her older sister and head coach Nicole. Currently a student-athlete on the softball team at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, Coach Andrea pushes our 16U Rockets with a determination and spirit that her players can relate to, while implementing the latest coaching techniques and providing an everyday example of what it will take for her players to get to the next level. Coach Andrea won two Canadian National Championships while playing for the White Rock Renegades, and was named First Team All-Canadian at 3rd Base.
